Responsibilities:

  • Compare data with source documents or re-enter data in verification format to detect errors.
  • Review data for deficiencies or errors, correcting incompatibilities and checking output.
  • Entering customer and account data from source documents within time limits.
  • Locate and correct data entry errors or report them to supervisors.
  • Store complete documents in appropriate locations.
  • Generate reports, store completed work in designated locations, and perform backup operations.

Skills:

  1. Typing speed and accuracy.
  2. Excellent knowledge of correct spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
  3. Attention to detail.
  4. Experience using office equipment, like fax machines and scanners.
  5. Proven data entry work experience as a Data Entry Operator or Virtual Assistant.
